Hi, I'm new to "Forums" or "Chat rooms" in general, so I may be doing this all wrong. Just FYI for the admin people; the "New Member Introductions" page was very confusing for someone who doesn't know their way around this kind of platform. You may want to do some kind of "focus" group with some new members to change some things around. I almost gave up it was so confusing; as I didn't want to do something that would be considered "bad form".

I have been around chickens my entire life (now 60 yo) but had to take off 30 years off due to work constraints and ability to legally have them on my properties. We have had Biele's for over 2 years now and I just wanted to inform one of your members about them; i.e., Jack Speese. I can't find the "thread" he was on when he asked the question but if anyone knows how to contact him; as I am clueless in how to find him here but will continue to try, please tell him they are probably one of the best breeds I've ever dealt with to date. Great producers; i.e., 250-300 but the best is; the autosexing, and especially the roosters. The roosters are EXTREMELY friendly. Actually, the cock we have now is the best one out of the entire flock; loves to cuddle withe kids. Autosexing really makes things easy when we're trying to revamp the flock, etc.. Please know that we are not a business and don't do anything commercial; strictly a family deal, NO business, please don't contact for eggs or chicks. As for Mr. Speese; try some, YOU WILL LOVE THEM!!!

Welcome to BYC.

To find him, type "Jack Speese" into the search bar (brown tab on top, with my laptop. It's to the left of the "Account" icon.)

But here he is anyway. https://www.backyardchickens.com/members/jack-speese.51140/

It was pretty hard for me to figure out how to create my first thread, and since I joined, I have given several new people instructions on how to do just that. However, I thought that that was the most difficult part of it.

This is the only media/social site to which I belong, besides Pinterest, and I joined that one after I joined this one.

well done for creating a post, even if it was a struggle! And welcome to the site :frow. I'm sure one of the admin people will be along shortly to offer advice on your questions; I'm not confident of giving the right answers as a relative newbie myself, but wanted to acknowledge your post so you know it arrived!

Welcome to BYC, and thanks for joining our community. Folks around here are pretty understanding, and mistakes are not regarded as 'bad form'. The site becomes easier to navigate with use so just click on whatever seems interesting to you. This is now your home.
