I got some great tips on my last post about the rooster chick I feel sure that I have. You guys gave me the answer I needed so I have more questions.
I have an EE chicken (4 weeks old) that is very sweet . She/he is big and has been since birth. Her pretty feathers were far more advanced then the other chicks at even a few days old. The difference between her feathers and those of my rooster chick are worlds apart, although the same age. Her tail feathers are growing in a point instead of a round poof of feathers like mygirls. The roosters tail feathers are starting to grow up. Not hers. But no red on the beak. The rooster is showing signs of being a rooster. I have posted an image of him ( he’s the white guy) so you can see the difference. This other is not showing signs to me ( but maybe not to you) .
Could she just be a big girl? Any thoughts?
