big fat crop and still eating...?

If a chicken’s crop is full (big and packed tight), will it still continue to eat? And eat. And eat. And…

Today the Turken’s crop was jam packed by about 4p and yet, wow, did she keep on packing it in. She’s a responsible bird so I know it’s not the munchies, so what gives? I’ll check her first thing in the morning; just curious if they will eat, and…well, you get the idea.

Maybe she's got PMS? I always feel like that - I just have to fight the urge to keep eating even though I'm NOT hungry.

Written as I sit here, staring at the unopened bag of Oreos on the counter....

Just kidding of course - hope you get an response from someone who knows a better answer.
