Hello Y'all!
I'm a big Bigfoot believer and though I haven't actually seen a Sasquatch before, I have read sightings and find them to be very true. I live in Texas and I know there have been lots of sightings here, especially in the East. I hope to see one, one day, but hopefully not where I live ! Please share any stories or sightings you have had or any that have been passed on to you!

I am not in the US, but always find these sort of things fascinating, so will be following.
We do have our own version of it, but I have never seen anything like that, and don't know anyone who does.

Wow! I haven't ever seen any before though my county has 5 sightings, the latest was in 2019. BFRO is a great sight for reporting sightings and looking at sightings in your counties.

My husband has seen and heard one when he was hunting in southern Ohio quite a few years ago. My sister has also seen one walking across the street late at night. My cousin has seen a few while farming in PA. I have no reason to doubt them

I live in WA state. In 92' I was offered a job to track and interview people by Peter Byrne, of the Bigfoot Research Project, in OR. I had to turn down the job after accepting it, because my husband got a different job at the other end of the state.
The area we moved to is the largest and the least populated county in the state.
In 1997 fall hunting season Oct. I had just put my kids to bed in an upstairs bedroom. I heard a hooting and a hollering on my property. It was so loud it shook my chest. I dropped to the floor, my dog, a blue heeler, who was not afraid of a single thing, also dropped to the floor, her toenails clutching the rug, and not a peep out of her. Years later the closest sound I came to hearing that howl, was at the zoo, and a lion roared, I felt my rib cage rattle, but it was not a lion's roar I heard. At the same zoo they had howler monkies, that were not as loud as what I heard, but it was as similar as I could come up with. Also years later an article about bigfoot locally said Oct. 1997 hunters reported big foot howls. I remember the hunters and thought the big foot may had been upset about the deer hanging on racks.
A different time in the winter on our property, we found a sleeping bowl, where no people live. There was prints in the fresh snow that had a reach 1 and 1/2 stride my husband's legs and his are long. I looked in all prints and found a small hair, but touched it, IDK if they can do DNA now a days and not worry about touch. I put it in a paper envelope, but don't know if I still have it. The prints wandered to other properties, each lot 1-2 acres.
