My poor Black Star Marcy!!!! (I think)
108 grams! 3.9oz!!!!!! It was a double yolk. My kids were thrilled.

I actually get double yoks and eggs that big all the time from my Barred Rock hens!

Ah, man. I was hoping that you was going to say that it was an egg inside an egg. True, it sounds painful, but ever since I saw a picture of one, I've wanted to get one myself. Sadly, closest I've ever gotten was a couple of EEs who would lay double yokers almost every day.

Well, sorry for my disappointment. Congratulations on the double yoker!

My Henny Penny used to lay jumbo eggs all the time. Never that big though. Sadly, one day she got into the neighbors garden (they used some type of poison) and was eatting all their plants the next day we watched her die.

Double yolked eggs are so fun to find! It’s been a while since my ducks have laid one but I’ve gotten three from my geese here recently. I got a triple from one of my ducks last year. Wow that was a huge egg

I'm REALLY sorry for you. I've clipped one wing on each of my girls, my nieghbor's have funny large dogs.

Poor girl!!!! I am a labor and delivery nurse and too big babies tend to have shoulder dystocia or C-section!!!! But so far all (even Marcy)the girls are perfectly normal and laid again this morning ...normal sized eggs!
