birchen maran hatching

Hi all... I hatched out some birchen marans eggs I bought off of an ebay auction and it looks to me 4 out of 5 are cockerals... I just have a small backyard mixed flock and will only be keeping the pullet... what do you all do with the boys??? I'm in CT if anyone wants one.

just wait for them to grow and see which one you like best, cull the rest.

ouch.. reality time...what does "cull" actually mean.

removing from the flock by either making it dinner or selling it. i prefer to sell any that i dont want

Or setting it on lawn pest control or predator alert duty. Basically removing it from the breeding pens by whatever means you select.
