Birchen marans pullet or cockerel?

I always thought this was a pullet until she sprouted and became bigger then the rest of her hatch mates. I'm looking forward to hearing your opinion!

That is an extremely large, pink comb for a seven week old. Those legs seem pretty thick as well. I'm going to say that he/she is a rooster.

I agree. The comb is conspicuously big, but looks different from the cockerels that came from the same batch of eggs. The other clue is that some gold colored feathers are starting to appear on the wings and back, albeit sparse. I'm disappointed... He would make 6 out of 9 who turned out to be male in this hatch. The free roo giveaway ads aren't doing well. No surprise there. LOL
