I'm so sorry for your loss! I completely identify with your feeling that it's your fault - I have experienced the same feelings. It's not though. These ducks are susceptible to so many different illnesses. It's heart-breaking, but we do the best we can, and we love them and give them as good of a life as we possibly can. I'm glad there were no drastic measures taken with the rest of your flock. I think there is a lot of unnecessary culling going on, and that would have been heartbreaking. Hope you can find peace and comfort soon.

@PicklesMom how are the rest of your flock doing?

They seem ok, fingers crossed. I keep looking at them anxiously. I am very glad that so far it doesn't seem like they're all going to be culled, I don't think I could take it.
