Bird flu in China any one worried

I am cringing every time they talk about the bird flu in china as last this this happened and there was just one case thought of in So, NV the state went over board as usual they trapped 1000 of wild birds and went around and took the citizens birds and killed them, I am talking chickens, geese, ducks, parrots anything that fell in the bird category if they seemed sick or not and killed them. I was weird going out side and not seeing birds or hearing them.

I know I will go to jail before I turn over my girls and depending on how this goes my girls may be put into hiding. So worried about this. anyone else have this kind of worry? anyone close to Las Vegas willing to harbor to fugitives for a few weeks if it comes down to it?

I remember the hysteria about bird flu around here and like any other news, it came and went. Media hype.

Am I worried? No, I don't live in with my birds and wild birds are the "carriers" and third world countries are more susectiple with it.

I can not see how the state of NV can do that extreme of killing all wildlife, anything pertaining to the bird family. I would read into it more. I personally think your chickens are safe.

I'm not worried about bird flu or my girls or me getting sick. I'm worried about the idiot's wanting to go to extreme again. That's why I'm making plans to put my girls into hiding if I have.
