bird injury

I failed to mention earlier that one of my birds has managed to get a nasty looking sore just over one eye. It looks a swollen blood blister. Can I put something on that or will the other birds just pick and peck at whatever this new stuff is on their buddy? I thought about putting some Melaleuca oil on it??

I'd just isolate the lil guy so the abuse stops and it will heal in no time! QUail have an almost majical healing power

Liquid skin or new skin works great for any open sores on the birds. I had a button quail who had his whole head ripped open, and I thought he was a gonner, I put liquid skin on it and it stopped the bleeding and in no time his head healed and his feathers gew back. Also helps keep any infection out of the sore. And the other birds never picked at it at all. It has my vote
