Hello everyone I'm here to ask a question;so my hen only hatched out one chick (dont know of it's a boy or a girl)but the my hen died,so I brought the chick inside to raise it till it's old enough to go outside, know the question is the chick has bird lice and in wondering of they will die because of the heat bulb or because theres no more host for them to feed on and the other question is do bird lice infest humans.

Sorry for the loss of your hen.

The lice do have a host - the chick.
Dust the chick with a Permethrin based poultry dust. Clean out the cage/housing, dust that too and put in fresh bedding. Treat the chick and housing again in 7 days.

Poultry Lice might bite or cause irritation in humans, but they are species specific so they won't live on you.

i have bad news the chick has died i dont know why i just went to my room where i had it and it whas dead,it looked healty a few minutes ago i just dont know why.

I'm sorry to hear that.
The only way to know why it died would be to send the body to your state lab for testing/necropsy.
If that's something you wish to do, I can look up your lab for you if you will tell me what state you live in.

The hen that died, was she infested with lice/mites? What about your other chickens? It would be good to look all of them over and treat them with Permethrin if you find bugs on them.
