So I went to the feed store this morning to see what they had. LOL. They got in 800 cornish cross which I was not interested in, but they had a bunch of barred plymouth rock and a bunch of little bantams left over from last week. So I got three of the bpr and we got two banties. We could not resist. One is silver with feathered feet and the other one has gold laced wing feathers. So we will see.
Anyway, one of the newbies was making a sound that was clearly not happy. I checked on them and all five were huddled together far from the light. The gravel pan was under the light and a bunch of the bigger birds were in it, so I moved it. Could this be what was wrong? Could the bigger guys have chased away my babies? I have two already in there that are the same age, but they're bigger.
