Bird molting before a show HELP!!!

I have a show I want to put a few birds in on October 1st. My self-blue ameraucana rooster is currently molting, and he only has 2 sickle feathers left. Is there any hope that he'll be fully feathered in by the show? Entries are due on Thursday. Been giving him oats to make him molt faster, and BOSS to increase protein. Of course, he doesn't HAVE to be in the show, but he's so darn handsome I just really want him in it. One of his daughters will be going. Also, how to cage train well? My ameraucana rooster and my buff orpington pair HATE me, but they are calm once they are being held. They are just awful when you go to pick them up and don't want them to be freaks foe the judges. No hope. But you wouldn’t be the first to being a molting chicken to a show. Looking at you, Nate. (My chicken molted all his sickles right before a show and I have him signed up for another already.)
It might not be worth the entry fees to sign up a known-to-be molting bird though.
