my dad gave my birds including the peacocks potato plants to eat. will they die and is there anything i can do?

I don't think there is anything you can do but make sure any plants not eaten are discarded and watch them closely. A lot of things listed as toxic may take a lot to cause harm. Hope they do ok.

Only green potatoes are toxic..they contain solanine...the leaves are toxic but a chicken will not normally eat the leaves...if you suspect they have eaten the leaves it may be a good idea to give their digestive system a flush with epsom salts...it will help to eliminate any toxins.
