I check on the chicks (I guess they are considered pullets now) often but when I'm in the house I occasionally listen out the back door for any distress calls. I hear them often but it's just the birds (not chicks). It's driving me crazy. Just wanted to rant. LOL!

Crazy has some company right here!

I keep all my poultry housed within earshot of the living room, and more times than I care to admit, I will mute the TV because I am CERTAIN I can hear an upset chicken, duck or goose when it's just the wind or my imagination.
