Anyone else make your birds Christmas meals? I gave the guineas fish sticks and a few baked potatoes.

I should be cooking food for the humans coming over later!

I tried the pomegranate. They were happy chickens!

I gave mine warm oatmeal with yogurt and a can of whole corn. When I left I had nine bloated but happy chickens.

I intend to feel the same way in about two hours......

Yep...I made suet for mine...altho I sorta changed the recipe a little....more crunchy peanutbutter...and added stone ground wheat, oatmeal,chicken scratch,and black oil sunflower seeds. They loved it!

As usual the chickens get to score first on leftovers and table scraps... today they got half a dozen biscuits, some corn pudding/casserole, some potatoes and baked beans. Last night they got leftover shrimp and crab bits.

They're always happy to see me comin...lol.

My African Grey adores pomegranate. Makes a terrible purple mess all over but loves it. Haven't tried it with the chickens yet....

Cherrios, cottage cheese, shredded cheese, and a little bit of lettuce all mixed together....

After we ate I piled a plate up with mac and chees, green beans, butter beans, and dressing and took it out and divided it up between my pens.
They all loved it.

My grandmother thought it was funny, but she knows I love my chickens.
