Birthday Chickens

My mom is giving us chickens for our birthday!!! (myself, 2 dd) our birthdays are all within a few weeks of each other!

so one is getting assorted 5 frizzed bantam cochins & 1 barred bantam cochin

other getting 5 assorted De Uccles

Rchicks- i dont know what she is getting. I know her and my hubby probably know what i want from hearing me say what i would get. I show them pics of my dream birds all the time. Its pretty funny when i am the one with the chick books

So i will not do any guessing at what she is up to. I will wait for the surprise and then let Y'all know. Who knows, maybe she will get me one of all the chicks i want. BTW.....i have a broody that i let keep eggs. There was only one fertile, silkie, and i candled tonight and its good. It should be due arounf Feb 1st or sooner. Also i gave some silkie eggs to chrisf who adopted my silkie roosters.....and he has 2 silkie eggs due to hatch tonight or Sat. So lots of things happening!!!
