bite size food?

Question...I have been giving the girls leftover vege clippings when I made salad or fresh veges.

Do I need to chop the scraps bite size for them or can they peck and eat at larger pieces??

Very young chicks yes. Older chickens can pick it down to size. In fact it gives them something to do.

You can cut it up if you want but it's a lot more fun to watch them play chase and grab tag!
