Edited to add that this is NOT a hatchery roo. I had gotten hatching eggs from Echoinghills, a breeder in Ohio, and my Black Cochin hatched him and three other chicks, Unfortunately, a possum got two of the chicks and I was left with two roos. I am going to keep one of the roos.
I have a BJG roo that I have to re-home. He is a really nice roo, not mean at all. He was hatched in July, so he just started crowing. He is used to free ranging part of the day. I really don't want him to go somehwere where he will be killed, since he is a pet.
Thanks!
Jen
