Black Australorp- Hen or Roo?

I think I know the answer.

All my chicks are 5.5 weeks old.

This was the only good pic I could get of the legs. They are uncooperative little buggers!

The one is question is on the far right. This one shows the tail feathers in comparison to the others of the same breed.

I would say that it is a rooster.

is it's hackel feathers around his neck round or pointed? if round it is a hen, if pointed it is a roo, could not tell by pic's

This is my first set of chicks so I don't know what hackel feathers are.

Judging by the comb size at 5.5 weeks old, I am guessing a roo.

hackel feathers are the feathers that meet at the bottom of the neck and sholders

So far out of 25 from McMurray, I have 2 or 3 suspected roos.

2 that were identified by you all and 1 have yet to submit a pic of for you to look at.

Darn! I was really hoping for 25 hens! What am I gonna do with 2 or 3 roos! (retorical question that needs no answering.)

I am very confident that he is a rooster! He now has the appearance of some nice waddles!
