Black Australorp Rooster with white&black head! need advice.

I'm about to buy a beautiful year and a half old Black Australorp Roo and I wanted to use him for breeding but he has a white and black spotted head. The lady called the coloring Salt & Pepper.

Is this a hatchery stock bird with something mixed in way back or just a uncommon color outburst? I've never seen a Black Aussy Roo with white on them?

If it's mature enough to be a "roo" and it still has white on it, it's not an Australorp.

Oh yeah thats silver leakage, hes mixed. Dont use him for breeding if you are wanting pure Aussies.
