Black Australorp Rooster

I think this topic belongs in the forum? I am going to get my first batch of
chicks soon. I was leaning toward Black Australorps. I was wondering
if anyone has any experience with the Roosters behavior of this particular
breed? According to my research they are supposed to be gentile, docile,
and tame. Just wondering.

I was curious myself. I have 3 Black Australorp hens and they are very sweet and docile. 2 of mine are also very broody so I know they'd make great mommies.

That is good, it is good to know that they will make good mommy's. I also read that they
are great layers to something like 5/wk or so.
