Hey guys, I'm not very familiar with the Black Australorp chicken but my sister has some and I wanted some as well lol. I got 2 from our local coop who orders from Hoovers and I know this year Hoovers is "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit" mentality. Anyway, my "black australorps are about 6 weeks old and they are starting to grow some brown feathers which has me questioning if they are something else like Barnevelders? What do you guys think? The last photo is them as babies.
Well, I can't say I'm not disappointed ,especially since I special ordered them, but at least they are good layers.
I'm fine..... really
