Hi,
I am in Central North Carolina and I am looking for Black Autralorps. I am considering about 15 hens and two roos. They will be integrated with my other chickens. I am interested in a hardy-yearround layer-dual-purpose bird to free range, turn compost eat bugs and some broodiness to lovingly raise their young. I am considering this breed but I am open to others. I currently have two Leghorns-Easter Eggers, Barred Rock, Rhode Island red, Black Orpington, Basque (Marraduna), and Light Brahman. Does anyone have information on reputable breeders in the area for Black Australorps? I'd love to hear your input. Thank you!
