Black bantam Cochin rooster to chocolate bantam Cochin hens

Hello!!

I am hatching shipped bantam Cochin eggs from a black rooster over chocolate hens. I believe the babies will be sex linked by color. Is that correct? What colors/sexes will they be? Thank you!

No, this cross is not sexlinked. All offspring will be black from that crossing, and all males carrying the chocolate gene. To make chocolate sexlinks, you have to have a chocolate male crossed to non-chocolate females.

Now if the rooster is black split for chocolate over chocolate hens, does that change anything?
