Black cardinal in Florida

Hay we have a black cardinals family in our bush. Why are they? I can’t get a picture. They have 2 babies but no mom. Just the male. They are doing fine but I want to know what they are.

Well, cardinals are not black so without a picture there is no way anyone can try to identify the birds.

They aren’t coming out. They is the best I got. It just looks like a blurry black dot. Sorry

I don't know, do some research..... I just googled "black cardinal in florida".
