Black cardinal in Florida

Hay we have a black cardinals family in our bush. Why are they? I can’t get a picture. They have 2 babies but no mom. Just the male. They are doing fine but I want to know what they are.
 
They aren’t coming out. They is the best I got. It just looks like a blurry black dot. Sorry

Phainopepla. This unique species looks like a black or dark gray cardinal with a red eye. The phainopepla can be found in the southwestern U.S.

That’s cool. Are they ok with the normal bird feed or should they get something special. I hope they stay around
