Black chicken poop?

I found this black chicken poop in my chicken coop this morning. Never saw any before today.
Is this something I should be concerned about?
They all look happy / healthy.

I put wood ash in their dust bath and sometimes their poo looks black because they eat the charcoal. Could that be the reason for yours?

Oh that may be it. I know we had a few pieces or charcoal in there. Didn't realize that they may peck at it!

Mine seem to like it! I mean... they eat rocks, so... what's a little charcoal haha

Chickens love charcoal. I think it serves a purpose for them, they won't eat it all the time, just when they need/want it. In my experience's with my hens...
