Black Copper Maran Pullet or Roo

The chick is 4½ old now, over the last we or so I've noticed a big difference. I got the 2 at the same time. Hatch date May 3rd. Now I'm thinking is this even a Black Copper Maran or mix.? I’ve attached pictures.

His doing great. No crowing yet. His pretty calm and laid back. I keep waiting for the crazy teenage to kick in.
