I have a question it may be totally stupid to BCM feather out at the same rate for both sexes I have on i hatched that is a total doll. just hoping its not a roo

I bought my chicks at a week old just straight run and I ended up with two roos and 6 hens (what are the odds?) They feathered at the same rate for me may be different for others on here but this was that way for me

I have had roos that feather out slow and some feather out fast with long tails early on. Same for the pullets although it seems like the girls usually feather out faster than the males.
I think alot of it has to do with the line they came from.

here is the chick hatched from a gabbard farm egg and hatched with the comb it hasn't gotten any bigger or changed color

How old is your baby now? Looks kinda girly....but hard to tell for sure yet.

chick is just a little over 2 weeks old. Almost fully feathered.
