I bought a dozen BCM eggs from a BYC member and only 2 hatched. It would be GREAT if my 2 are a pair!

One of them is a little more feathered out with a distinct tail and back feathers, a female trait, yes? This more feathered one also has a slightly larger and pinker comb, a male trait, yes?

As you see, I am confused. Please help.

I would say it looks like you could have a pair. Chick in the second photo is definitely a boy.......lots a roo-ism going on with that boy.
Cute chicks they look happy and healthy!

edited to say.....after looking over your photos again and again.....I must retract my previous statement and go with both boys...sorry!

If they are both boys that's fine. I like having two roosters in a flock. Makes um try harder.

If that's the case I'll just have to get more eggs and try for some pullets.

How long before I can tell for sure?
