I have four BCM and they lay a few different shades of their nice dark colored eggs. The only thing I find that is odd about this breed is that they walk backwards sometimes. My other birds (have 44 birds total) might take a step backwards but that’s it. Sometimes when I walk towards the BCM they will actually walk backwards. Have had them for a few years and it still freaks me out ha ha. But they are nice enough birds.
