Black Copper Marans?

I wish I was an expert with Marans but clearly I'm not. What would you call this color? He was bought as a chick as a BCM but is he Wheaten instead or something else?
In the picture he was just stretching, and has terrible frostbite from our Texas snow storm but he's fine now and his comb tips didn't fall off, thankfully!

Hmm...the red on his chest is unusual, but red hackle, wing, and saddle feathers are normal for BCM roosters.

He's definitely an interesting color. I guess maybe a mix breed

I have a BCM mix with partidge rock? her egg is very dark and speckled, she looks like a welsummer, but with feathered feet.
