I have a couple Black Copper Marans and F1 Olive Eggers I added to my flock. They are approximately 10 weeks in age. I know the one that is all black (Dalia) is my female olive egger.

Any idea which is my other olive egger? Could it the other chicken in the photo with Dalia? Also, are my two BCMs males?

I appreciate any insight! I asked the breeder and didn’t get much of a response!

Two pullets in the first picture, and my bet would be two cockerels in the second two pictures.

The one with his back to us has brassy feathers on his back, and the really pronounced comb and wattles. And the one in the back, comb and wattles are the biggest of the three- but at least from the pictures there's not a lot of brassy feathers where they shouldn't be for a pullet.

BCMs comb up pretty early, but compared to the pullet I'd be a little concerned...

Good looking birds!

So far the one in the back in the 2nd and 3rd photo with the largest comb and furry feet started crowing. The other still hasn’t yet but I have a feeling he’s just being shy.
