Black French copper Marans cockerel?

Before I start looking for a new home I just want to double check, it definitely looks like a cockerel doesn’t it? No chance I could be wrong??

Definitely a cockerel. The glossy red band across the back is a give away, it’ll grow over his shoulders too.
