I have a hundred pounds or so of seedless black grapes that were given to me. I have made and canned jam, juice, shrub and still have tons left...my birds won't eat them! They have loved the red and green grapes I occasionally have for them, but sticking up their noses at these. What's up?

I may be that chickens have preferences, too.

Last year, I put a pumpkin in the run. They ate it down to the thin skin. This year, they are foraging. There are pumpkins sitting just outside the run. They ate the seeds and have left the pumpkins uneaten.

I suppose that the pumpkin was great when it was the new thing in the run. Now that they can have anything in the yard, the pumpkins don't make the cut.
