I have two Black Maran Cockerels that we hatched. We incubated both French Birchen and Black Copper Maran eggs from a local source, not line-breed, and they could be either one. As of now it appears one of each due to color of hackles coming in. They hatched from two of the four dark eggs shown in the picture so should have good dark egg laying genes. Located in Okaloosa county FL. $8 apiece or $12 for both.
