Black Mottled x Splash?

What will you get if you breed a Black Mottled English Orp to a Splash English Orp? What will the offspring be?

Like just solid blue? Or blue mottled?

Solid blue unless the splash carries a mottled gene.
Mottling is recessive so it takes a copy from each parent to show on the offspring.

As chicks they will show some light patches around the face, indicating that they carry one mottled gene. But when they feather in, they will be solid blue, unless the splash parent also carries mottled. Here’s a pic from my last hatch of a chick carrying one mottled gene.
