what is a hen line ?? and i was told that this pair is from a hen line , do you think it is ?

A (Hen) or usually called female lines are set up to produce better females than males when they are bred.Where as most breeders prefer male lines so they can have better males for showing,There are some very good female lines of OE around the country.I dont have a female line myself but they do look more like female line than male line to me.Maybe that will help you a little.I will try to post a pic of two of my male line cock birds so you can see the difference.

I know this is a old post but I got a rooster with a really short back stance like a serama was told he is from a female line is this the case

. Could be, but maybe just from short stock, I have a pair of serama's and the rooster has a short back but his legs are tiny lol I feel bad for him
