I'm almost 100% sure it's a boy, but wanted confirmation. His mother fooled me, having really thick legs, stubby tail and slow feathering, so that's why the almost 100% certainty. We did catch this baby after I took the pics and he has nice red wattles already growing larger. He's going to be huge and gorgeous, just gorgeous! Suede is the sire and Smoky is the mom.

HE HE Even RuPauls legs are not that thick.....LOL


Do I need to make a trip to Blue Ridge??????

I'm not in a big hurry for him to go. In fact, if I was planning to continue the BBS Orps, I'd keep this guy. But, alas, I'm not, so eventually, he'll have to find a new home.

Big 'ol boy you got there!! I need to post some pics of my black orps from Julie (bama). One just started to crow and I just love his crow, so deep and just really cool!!
