Black Sex link as a hen stock for crossbreeding....

Running a Bielefelder rooster on some Black Sex Link hens. What will the chicks look like? Autosexing? I think that the laying traits would be fantastic but just curious what might come of this.

They won't be autosexing or sexlinked. Most of the chicks will be barred, at least to some degree. I think they would end up looking a lot like pure Bielefelders.

No autosexing. You'll get red and black barred chicks. I think Mrs K just hatched chicks with the same breed of rooster, but not sure what hens she had with him. Maybe she'll chime in.
