Black sex link?

So I had a rooster and he had 1 copy of barring so he definitely was some type of mix. Wondering if he would be considered more of a black sexlink? Or just a barnyard mix. If he's a BSL I want more of them (the roosters anyways not too sure on the hens) he does also appear to be smaller than ones I've seen but maybe just because of him being a particular BSL cross? With a rather different tail too?

I only ask because if it was from a backyard breeder/hobbyist (nothing wrong with this at all btw!!) chances are it's just a plain old mix (once again, nothing wrong with that haha) but if he was from a hatchery I'd probably say he's a black sex link, he's got a lot of white on him which makes me think he's probably a barnyard mix but it could just be natural variation in the sex link OR he snagged an extra gene in there somewhere ;D

He's definitely single barred so for sure sometime of mix. Just was curious if he was a BSL cuz he was soo amazing and want more of him though just collected some eggs and will be going to the incubator so hopefully I get a son from him. He seems a lot smaller than the BSLs I've seen so that's what made me think he wasn't for so long, unless ofc he came to me sick since he passed away 2 days ago.
