Sorry for the terrible resolution. I took it on my phone. I'm not sure of the age on this one, I've had it since the beginning of July.. it neither crows nor poops eggs.

Looks like a hen, roosters get long feathers on the back of their crests called streamers. But it depends on how old it is.
