Black Slikie roo mixed or not mixed with what?

So I know that this guy is at least part Silkie he is about 2 years old but I think he may be something else too! I really would eventually like to show birds but I don't know if mixed breeds are acceptable. I don't think he has the black skin of a pure silkie but I took a pic the best I could of both him and his skin under his wing. Thoughts???? Maybe he is pure???? I hope the pics come out as this is the first time I have uploaded on here.

if no black skin then he's a mix an no, mixes are not normally accepted in show.
As far as what he is I cant help you there..

No he does not have black skin. his looks white.
gross I know but this is how dark Silkie skin is.

You would be able to really tell if it was black.

His wing looked like the same color as the wings on the cooked silkie. His face was also dark. The wing skin looked a little lighter because the flash may have been on. He has the silkie feathering so I think he is a pure breed silkie just not too good of quality. He definitely doesn't have white skin. Not all of their skin is midnight black.


Also, look at his dark legs. Def. not white!
