Black snakes in my nesting boxes!

Has anyone had issues with this? I've had my chickens over 2 years now and this was a first for me this year. Sprinkled snake away all around. Removed the snake and dropped it off in the woods but it came back!

Once a snake has found the free buffet it will keep coming back if not moved far away enough. Do you know how it's getting in, and can you predator proof it?

It got in during the day. There is auto doors on the coop and the run is wrapped in hardware cloth. Snakes seem to have the ability to climb straight up a surface.
