Black Soldier Fly Larvæ (BSFL) - when do wild BSFs start appearing in different areas?I

I had a BSFL farm going last year, but they all died in a freeze (I jury rigged a little greenhouse hoping to keep the pails warm, but it didn't do a great job, so we stopped getting adults laying). I'm in the Florida panhandle, zone 8b, I wonder when wild BSFs will start appearing again.
