I have 15 pullets about a month old. A few have damp bodies under their wings and some black specks (not insects). Anyone know what this is and how to treat? I want to avoid it spreading to the flock if it is contagious. They have been out in the yard every day, so not sure, maybe just dirt or something?
Thanks in advance, this is my first attempt at raising chickens, so I often feel 'at sea.'
