Black specs inside of egg - what are they?

I have a Cuckoo Maran that will often times have tiny black specs inside of her egg. They are very hard to the touch and pitch black. They are also tiny (maybe the size of half a grain of rice). What are these? Of my 6 hens, only the one has this in her eggs.

I have seen some discussions about this... but don't remember. You might search the forum if you don't get an answer. Blood spot comes to mind...

Thank you both, but what I am seeing looks nothing like a meat or blood spot. It almost looks like very small pieces of black granite. Any other ideas?
