black spots on comb

I've got two BR roos that are six months old. Both have beautiful combs but I noticed this afternoon black spots that almost look like fungus? Any ideas what it could be?

Are you sure it isn't dried blood from pecking?

kathyinmo thanks so much for the links, the pics with the black spots look exactly like what I have. My chickens that I currently have all came from the same hatch and have not been exposed to any other chickens, I keep thier coop extremely clean but we live in a rural area in south Louisiana so mosquitos are always an issue. Thanks again for the help
