Black Star smells sour

I have a variety of 7 chicks from mypetchicken. All seem healthy and happy and act the same. They are 5 weeks old and share a brooder. The black star has always smelled sour and has sour smelling poo. The poo looks normal, though. The other chicks smell fine.

Is the common to the breed? Should I be worried?

She is in the front.

I have no idea but I like that you SMELL your chickens! My DD does this, and tells me what each pullet smells like.

Hope someone has some info for you!

I wonder if she might have sour crop..it's sort of a yeasty smell, I think. If she smells really awful, you can give her a bath.
ETA: I smell my chickens too...

As for the smell, I have not a clue. But you need to give your chickens more room or they are going to start fighting. Then you will have a BIG problem.
