Black stones in liver??

Sorry, not sure if I'm posting in the right place... I just butchered a hen because she was bleeding out the back end - looked like she had a big egg problem, poor thing. Anyway, her liver had a number of black 'stones' in it. They were hard and I couldn't break one open, though I didn't try a lot. The stones were oblong, about 2mm by 3mm. I threw the liver out and put her in the crockpot. Lol, I just started wondering if I should worry.

Any ideas what the stones are? She was a 2yo buff.

no dont worry it just could be some grit that got into the liver i wouldnt worry bout it
